Jean-Claude Juncker, the former president of the European Commission, made a committment to lead the fight against global warming through the “transformation and deep decarbonisation of the whole economy,” calling for siginifcant adaptation efforts.

Climate services could be the way to a climate-resilient and low-carbon society by informing decision-makers, boosting resilience and adaptation capacity and addressing risks.
