The Fourteenth International Conference on Climate Change: Impacts & Responses

The Fourteenth International Conference on Climate Change: Impacts & Responses is brought together by a common concern for the science of, and social responses to, climate change. We seek to build an epistemic community where we can make linkages across disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries. We invite proposals addressing one of the following themes or special focus:

  • THEME 1: THE NATURE OF EVIDENCE
  • THEME 2: ASSESSING IMPACTS IN DIVERSE ECOSYSTEMS
  • THEME 3: HUMAN IMPACTS AND RESPONSIBILITY
  • THEME 4: TECHNICAL, POLITICAL, AND SOCIAL RESPONSES
  • 2022 Special Focus – Responding to Climate Change as Emergency: Governing the Climate Emergency
We have identified eight case studies in the energy, food security, water and infrastructure sectors of the SADC region – to provide a range of examples where climate service delivery can be successfully implemented.
